Before teaching at Prue Public Schools I was a professional artist for several years working independent and with galleries. I have been is several art shows, featured in magazines and newspapers, and did some guest teaching at Oklahoma State University. I have traveled to Europe and Asia on several occasions to study art and architecture which I have implemented into my classes here at Prue. It is my goal to expose students to a variety of different cultures through my Humanities and Greco-roman lecture classes and to install a professional attitude and work ethic into my stdio classes. I currently teach basic to advanced classes, college level lecture classes, and a sculpting class which involves making Italian styled paper masks.
